IICELAND
GREENHOUSE RESTAURANT
This project aims to celebrate the nature of the Myvatn region. rising from the topography as it remains immersed in the snow, the CRTR faces the Hverfjall and catches a glimpse of the Myvatn Nature Baths. The buildings divide and form an opening that follows the path of a treaded area of the topography. Following this movement, they crawl down the land toward the baths.
The roofs break into two pieces: initially rising from the ground and then failing at an angle inspired by traditional Icelandic architecture. Taking the topography into account, the forms crawl toward the baths with defined yet gentle diagonal movements.
